Earlier this week I took a trip to Pittsburgh to visit my sister and brother-in-law and was met over there by my mother as well. I brought my new puppy, Evie, along for the ride to meet Val and her new puppy, Dutch (also a chihuahua). We spent the day shopping and seeing my sister's new house. It was a lot of fun because I don't get to see them that often!! Here are some puppy moments.

Redesigning the living room

I decided it was time to redo my living room. My twenty year old couch and plain white wall were just not doing it for me anymore. Imagine that. Donnie is setting up his 55 gallon fish tank in there for me as well. I don't have any fish yet, but I'm liking it already. Feels more like home to me. Now I just need a real house!

So, for some unearthly reason I decided I needed a puppy. I had no intention of buying a puppy, but when I entered the pet store last month (to buy fish supplies for my re-vamped tank) I saw the cuttest thing ever in one of those rabbit cases by the door. After carrying her around the store with me while shopping, I decided I wasn't leaving without her. So now I am a proud puppy owner. I feel like a parent...sort of. Her name is Evie and she is a chihuahua. Her ears are big. Very big. Kind of like a bat. But I do love her.
